Rebecca B.
Speaks: English
Hi there! My name is Rebecca, and I'm a 3rd year graduate entry medical student currently studying in Ulster University. My original undergraduate degree was in Human Health and Disease based in Trinity College Dublin. I have a huge passion for science, particularly biology but also chemistry, and a soft spot for mathematics. I am a firm believer that we are all capable of learning, it's just a case of tailoring the method of teaching to how a student learns! Therefore when I teach, I try to uncover how bet my students learn, and use this to maximise how they learn and understand a subject. I am an experienced tutor, having given grinds in leaving certificate higher level mathematics and chemistry, as well as university level tutoring for those also studying Human Health and Disease, but the year below. Please feel free to contact me for more information, I am free for online tutoring during the week, and around dublin on weekends - any questions just give me a shout!

Medical Student at Trinity College Dublin offering Medical School Admissions & Interview Preparation
Ece Zehra E.
Speaks: English, Turkish, French
Hello! My name is Ece, and I am currently an undergraduate medical student studying Medicine at Trinity College Dublin. I specialise in medical school admissions preparation, with a focus on personal statements, interview preparation, and university consultations for students applying to Irish and UK medical schools. I successfully received offers from all Irish medical schools I applied to and progressed to multiple medical school interviews across both Ireland and the UK. I also sat the UCAT as part of my UK applications. While I did not take the HPAT due to my status as an international applicant, I navigated the Irish medical admissions system through the international and interview-based routes, gaining extensive experience with interview preparation, structured answers, and admissions strategy. I particularly enjoy helping students develop clear, confident, and authentic answers to common medical school interview questions, including motivation for medicine, ethical scenarios, communication-based stations, and personal statement discussions. I also support students in understanding application pathways and positioning their experiences effectively, especially international applicants. Alongside my medical studies, I have strong experience in academic writing, research, and mentoring, and I am involved in medical journal authorship and peer review in the Trinity Student Medical Journal. My teaching style is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s goals and background. If you are preparing for medical school applications and would like personalised guidance from a current medical student who has been through the process successfully, I would be very happy to help.

To complete my Qualified Teacher Status, I taught year 7, 8 and 10 classes. This was my second experience of teaching Secondary Mathematics. Due to my enthusiastic and inventive approach to teaching, experienced staff rapidly involved me with the planning and organisation of core subject lessons. My most telling contribution in this role was working alongside staff to develop an engaging and interesting Mathematics curriculum that raised standards through clearly identified target-setting.
