Dear Student, I hope you are having a great time this summer. Let me tell you a little bit about me: My name is Cristina, I was born in Mexico and I recently moved to Ireland. I studied Biology where I got fun of soil interaction with microorganisms and plants. While I was studying my bachelors I decided that I would do my PhD in England, I wasn't sure were but I had decided it. Thus, I put my everything in learning English. A few year later I arrived to Manchester, UK and started my PhD at the University of Manchester. When the pandemic started, it was hard to stay in Europe and even harder to get a job. Then I thought what could I do with what I have, with my knowledge and I found that teaching was something I love and deeply enjoy so I decided to set up my own teaching practice. I also enjoy reading, painting, knitting in my free time. I paint mainly plants and mushroom, I found them interesting and capricious forms, shapes and colours. When I want to relax my brain I just watch crime series and Korean dramas, there's something really relaxing about them.
