I have been tutoring since 1982, and I qualified as a full-time teacher in 1986. In my professional career I have worked in many schools, at many levels and to ages 11 - 18. In recent years I have worked in the city of Oxford, where I taught students from China, Russia, Japan, Thailand, America, Nigeria and other places. Until 2021 I was Head of Physics in a small college in Oxford, and effectively in charge of a small Physics Lab. In that situation we learned the new art of tele-working, and navigating around Covid restrictions . I developed a passion for practical Physics and conducted experiments with students on a daily basis. I use ICT extensively and have built up a large resource of pre-drawn sheets and stencils with Microsoft Visio, which I use routinely. Most of my resources are written in LaTeX, in which I have now become fluent. I am happy to work with Zoom, Skype or Teams.
