If You're Sitting the Leaving Cert DCG Exam
DCG is split into two parts: your student assignment, worth 40%, and the written exam in June, worth 60%. The assignment is a SolidWorks-based design project with a portfolio and files due around late January or early February, and it's often the part students feel most stuck on when the deadline is looming. The exam itself runs three hours, split into Section A (short questions), Section B (long questions) and Section C (Applied Graphics), and most of it comes back to orthographic and auxiliary projection.
